Daily Routine
Arrival - Encouraging children to work on self help skills like finding a place for their belongings and putting them away fosters independence and responsible.
Free play- Free play assists children in adapting to the school environment by allowing them to acclimate to the new setting and separation from their homes for the first time.
CIRCLE TIME:
Informal talk:- It is the beginning of an exciting day for the children. It is a formal time well planned activity where children sit on the mat very close to teacher and informal talk happens for a few minutes.
Project discussion:- It is a part of circle time when teacher tries to draw out information and thus build up the understanding of the child’s previous knowledge, then the teacher plans real experiences related to the topic. She narrates story and take poems which ends with an action song.
Desk work:- Formal teaching is according to the curriculum has been designed.
Fruit and lunch break:- Children are encouraged to bring fruits daily. Children, before snack time remember to wash their hands. They sit together chat and enjoy their snacks. We follow a food menu that teaches them about healthy eating habit and why it’s good for them.
Informal time:- In a classroom children are empowered to select areas for both, work and play, fostering a diverse range of choices. The room layout and materials are intentionally arranged on stimulated creativity and collaboration which enhance social needs of young learners. Here teachers work as a facilitator and observes the children minutely.
Outdoor Music:- Participating in outdoor activities is crucial for children’s holistic development as it enhances both gross and finer motor skills, promoting physical and mental well-being. Moreover, involvement in music activities enriches their kinesthetic sense, These experiences provide a comprehension approach to learning, where children not only strengthen their physical abilities but also cultivate a deeper connection to their artistic and expressive capabilities.
Bye-Bye- Before saying goodbye, we go over everything we did in class throughout the day, helping children remember and share what they learned with their families at home, means taking school to home.
